Manhattan School of Music Campus Tours



We’re excited to welcome you to the Manhattan School of Music campus in the academic heart of NYC’s Upper West Side!

Visit notes: 
  • A typical visit begins with an information session and is followed by a campus tour covering our many performance spaces, rehearsal and state-of-the-art practice spaces, and classrooms. 
  • Tours start promptly, so please arrive at our 130 Claremont entrance five minutes in advance of your appointment. Your group will check in for the tour at our security desk. Then, you may wait in the lobby for your guide. Information sessions and tours are approximately one hour long. We ask you to limit your group to three members of your household.

Manhattan School of Music is accessible by public transit or by car. By subway, we recommend you take the 1 train to the 116th Street stop and walk north to 122nd street. If you're driving, there is free street parking available if you're willing to search, or you can park in a metered spot or a garage. There are a number of garages in the city, but the two closest are:
